Protestors chanting on both sides at the Ground Zero mosque have truly turned it into Hollered Ground. This issue is so complicated, it can’t even be explained in 140 characters! Thank goodness we have Uncle Jay!!

THX Uncle Jay,
Very entertaining.
Good one with Bret Favre. You also managed to find some humor with the mosque near/at/on ground zero.

Another fine example of distilling issues to the point where even I can understand them!!
Wouldn’t miss a week Uncle Jay.

Thank you so much Uncle Jay. After debating the whole mosque issue this weekend I am exhausted and needed your sensible and funny mind set.
As always, you put stuff in the proper perspective.
Loving your brain,
Lynne Lefebvre.

Thanks for the information about where the mosque/cultural center will be located. I was getting confused. Also, I hope you get your pants issue resolved by next week

Uncle Jay, PLEASE run for President! If all our politicians had your insight and candor, we would not be battling the seemingly hopeless problems we currently have in this country. I look forward to you every week!
Uncle Jay replies:
Thanks, but Uncle Jay thinks that voting for someone just because of the things they say is …. well, check out the News Question from the July 26, 2010 episode.

I love it when Uncle Jay hits both sides with equal funniness. Good job!

Great bit about the mosque debate. Wonder where the media will put its location next week? You have fans in Canada, where I am from, and if you want to declare refugee status–we’ll take you in!

Great job, Uncle Jay, helping all us little minds understand the news!
One quibble about the mosque issue is, even though the argument has moved to being beyond silly, there haven’t been calls for the murder of the mosque organizers from leaders of groups who oppose the building of a mosque at/near the WTC bombing site. Such is not the case as with the newspaper clip shown regarding the Danish cartoons.
