Zach: anecdotal evidence is a funny thing. I have friends in Canada who *do* tell horror stories.

Besides, “government” and “efficient” have never gone together as long as I can recall. Before the feds over-regulated here, hospitals actually spent more on care than on government compliance! What kind of a world would that be?

I live in Canada and universal health care has worked fine hear. The horror stories of the right are simply not true. Besides, its not as if congress will have to vote every time you need health care, so unless you’re ultra rich government service can be as efficient as private service.

Wow, seems i’m not the only person in the world who ignores celebs and Oscars! Nevertheless, Uncle J. I enjoyed this week as I do most weeks even though, as a non American, I don’t always understand so probable miss a lot of laughs.
