Pat Robertson’s lookin’ like a fool with his brains on the ground. Harry Reid’s not doing much better. So for MLK Day, Uncle Jay explains how a “poor choice of words” can result in a “poor choice of jobs.”

every part; WELL-DONE!

Wasnt it a bunch of slave owners who came up with the idea of all men being created equal?

I was surprised Uncle Jay didn’t talk about the topic of Negro being on the Census. My finance works at the Census Bureau and they are trying to take it off, but elderly black people in the south will mark Race: Other and write in Negro if not given the option.

Uncle Jay, Didn’t Joe Biden also have a few remarks about the skin color of Obama, too? — BTW, your broadcast often makes other news websites. Cool, huh?

As always, brilliant. Thanks for the Monday morning laughs Uncle Jay.

Well said Uncle Jay!

Tactfully done, Uncle Jay. Although, sad to say, in today’s world I still cringed when you talked about Harry Reid speaking the truth – simply by a pre-programmed politicaly correct influence.
Keep speaking the truth Uncle Jay. “Can’t we all just get along”.

Negro Native American Asian Caucasian all describe groups of peoples with various shades of color. It is men with narrow minds who perceive them as good or bad. The ignorant use key words to separate and divide. I was born in America I am an American, my friends, my relatives are American. And I do not care from where they came or what shade they are or any other outward body type. What I care about is that which is on the inside their moral character.
So I guess I like or enjoy being a member of The Unithed.C.A.N.N. of America for we can do nothing without each other, were all in this together.

2nd best episode yet (next to Congress’s Recess). Bottom line: racism, bigotry, stereotyping, and prejudice will continue so long as we continue to define ourselves as being different from others. It’s an unfortunate fact of life, and it’s a problem that’s exacerbated by actions of people on BOTH sides of the argument. Why must we be so closed-minded?
Thanks, Uncle Jay.

Uncle Jay-
You DID mention Pat Robertson’s odd rationale for the Haiti earthquake but you failed to mention Danny Glover’s; he said the earthquake occurred because no one took Copenhagen and climate change seriously.
Seriously.

I think Uncle Jay made a pact with the Devil so he could be so clever…

I struggle with what we’re measuring when we have check-boxes for “Caucasian”, “Pacific Islander” and “African American”. Is it heritage, skin color or immigrant status? As most issues are financially not skin-color driven, I don’t see the point. Personally, being a child of illegal-Canadian immigrants, I am disappointed without a choice of “transparent blue” or “snowy-ice” for my skin color.
Thanks for taking this on boldly and comically Uncle Jay!

Hi Oncle J:
I agree with Donnie. Where can I sign up?

No, Uncle Jay didn’t make a pact with the Devil. God just gave him a good sense of humor, which, boys and girls, many people on TV today simply do not have.

Uncle Jay,
LOL LOL LOL Good.

Perhaps your most cynical yet truthful broadcast yet, Unk. Feeling a little down after your recent illness?
January 19th, 2010 at 5:42 pm
Right on Uncle Jay. The Bible teaches us that we must forgive if we are to be forgiven.
I just wish Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was here and “Reverends” Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton weren’t. Rev. King is a blessed mighty man of God.
Pray for Rev. Pat Robertson, for he has become a false prophet.

Thanks for the needed lift after the horrible earthquake in Haiti.
Bless your candid, quirky brilliance.

If we judged Uncle Jay by the content of his character – not to mention the brilliance of his explanations – he’d get a solid A+. Can’t say nearly as much for Messrs. Reid, Biden, Robertson, or any other of the outspoken but “PC” crowd in Washington.
