Hey Uncle Jay thanx for mentioning how the tv machine seems to fixate on women being, raped, murdered, raped and murdered, or abducted, raped, and murdered. We are bombarded with salacious stories of violence against women and girl children. If women and girls weren’t afraid to live freely before we sure get the message now, be afraid be very afraid. That will fix us. Blessings.

Thanks for reminding me about Norman Greenbaum’s “Spirit in the Sky”. I managed to miss owning an 8-track tape. Not because I am too young, but because I was too poor during the 15 minutes they were popular. Sigh.

I heard someone say that people “spin” the news so I got daddy’s newspaper, read a story, spun the paper and reread the story. It said the same thing. Why spin it? I’m confused.

Wow Uncle Jay, did you see that Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi had to flee to Iraq on a junket after she got caught in a little fib about knowing about water boarding. Because Speaker Pelosi is from California, maybe she thought they were talking about surf boarding. Can you explain?
