Uncle J – like they used to say on “In Living Color” – “mo money, mo money, mo money” – but this time – it is our money. If the bail out plan is going to work, then I think I’ll plan to win the Mega Millions and retire to Bermuda. Resolution for 2009 – “hold my breath as long as I can” (following 2008 resolution – “keep my head above water”). Keep the laughs coming. Many a truth said in jest!!!

I always enJAY your news and your jayplaying with language. This week is “momentous” because it’s a MOMENT-o’-US, a special point in the country’s history, even if (truth be told) many folk are not as thrilled as the media make out.

Dear Uncle Jay,
How refreshing it is to recieve your take on the news each week. I am a very recent subscriber and find your take on whats going on right on point.
Nothing coming out of Washington or the “Fair But Balanced” New Media makes any sense. The politicians think we are a country of fools and so far we have not disappointed them.
Some of the Radio Talk Show Hosts (Liberal & Conservative) think they are the Know All See All Gurus of the airwaves. What a bunch of hyperbole.
