Minor correction: Actually, the democrats are just going crazy over Palin full stop. It was the Republicans going crazy after Obama referred to “putting lipstick on a pig” in a speech. They maintain it was referring to Sarah Palin, and that therefore Obama is a horrible sexist and feminists should vote for McCain. The Democrats maintain it was referring to McCain’s policies, and that the Republicans either lack basic reading comprehension or are cynically trying to distract the media from the real issues.
But that’s silly – the media would never be taken in by something like that, right?
